The painting, Liberty Leading the People, is a commemorative art as it was made by Eugene Delacroix  to commemorate the July Revolution of 1830. He was inspired to create this painting after witnessing an open warfare on the streets of Paris after the Thee Glorious Days or "Les Trois Glorieuses".  According to the historians, this was Delacroix's way of protesting as his dependence on royal commissions prevented him from taking part in the rebellion.

As a recognized leader of the romanticism style of painting, he delved into a more realistic and idealistic portrayal of the Liberty which gathered different reactions from critics and viewers alike.

So one of Paul's songs on this album where the clarinet is clearly heard as well as the vaudeville sound is "When I'm sixty four", which Paul himself sang on the album. It should also be said that when it comes to singing, Lennon and McCartney were as often singers as they did songs.
