Answer: verbal irony

Irony occurs when what appears to be true on the surface is in fact very different from the reality. In this case, the man claims that the place they are in "is a free country." However, he goes on to say that a man is his property. This statement is ironic because a place that has slaves cannot be a "free country."

EleoNora [17]

Hazel should make use of bold print.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Print features are the features that are used in the plain text to explain something in the text to the readers. There are certain examples of the print features which are bold print, captions, titles and so on.

Since Hazel is making use of the informational text and that text has certain technical terms in it, she should make use of bold print in it so that she should make certain words in bold and make the readers focus on those words and can tell the importance of those words.

Consider how Mrs. Whitaker is characterized in the story. What conclusions can you make about how she lives her life? Support yo
MAVERICK [17]

Answer and Explanation:

In "Chivalry", by Neil Gaiman, we can see that Mrs. Whitaker lives a very monotonous life without major events. She is a widow and retired who lives alone, being kind and kind to everyone she knows.

The monotony in her life makes it seem like she is a dull and boring character, but she is a very interesting and intelligent woman, who has had a lot of action in her life, but who now prefers to live in tranquility, even if it seems monotone for the readers.
