Answer:

The correct answer will be option-D

Explanation:

Cranial nerves are the twelve type of nerves of the peripheral nervous system which innervate or supply to the structures of the neck and head.  Mixed cranial nerves are a type of cranial nerves which contain mixtures of both sensory and motor fibers or nerves.

The main nerves of the mixed cranial nerves are the facial nerve,  glossopharyngeal nerves, trigeminal nerves (control mastication muscles) and the oculomotor (control eye movement).  The olfactory nerves transmit the sense of smell to the nasal cavity and are not considered the part of the mixed cranial nerves.

Thus, option-D is the correct answer.

Classify the events as autogenic or allogenic succession.
nydimaria [60]

In ecology, allogenic succession is mediated by the abiotic components of the ecosystem, while the autogenic succession refers to the succession, which is mediated by the biotic components of an ecosystem.

A volcanic eruption wiping out an entire island is an example of allogenic succession.

A soybean crop helping in nitrogen fixation, leading to the development of other species is an illustration of autogenic succession.

A tsunami devastating all the living organism in a habitat is an example of allogenic succession.

Oak trees preventing the growth of smaller sun-seeking shrubs is an example of autogenic succession.

a town has authorized the construction of a large sports complex at the top of a hill that is covered by a forest. How may the r
Tomtit [17]

If the forest on the hill is cleared, than the soil will lose its natural cover and protection from erosion. The soil will become much more exposed to the erosion, and its top layers will be moved away relatively easy and quickly. Those layers will move downwards, and practically will end up into the river that passes beside the hill. With a significant increase of sediments getting into the river, the river will start to deposit much more material. Also, the sediments will make a problem when there's heavy rainfall because the river will be able to get out of its river bad more easily and cause a flood. The water of the river will also became murkier, muddier, which will make it dark yellowish/light brownish in appearance when there will be rainfall.
