Answer:

D). The memoir is in first-person narration; the poem is in third-person narration.

Explanation:

Narration plays a crucial role in determining the impact of a written work on the mind of the readers as it proposes a lens through which the audience listen, understand, and evaluate a text. The narrator not only relates a story to the audience but also responsible for engaging the interest of the readers.

As per the question, the option that correctly describes the narration in 'My Story' and 'On the Bus with Rosa Parks' is option D. It displays that the memoir is written in first-person narrative as the author relates the story with 'his point of view and uses the pronoun 'I' or 'we' while the poem is narrated in third-person point of view where the author observes the story from a distance and uses 'he', 'she', etc. Thus, option D is the correct answer.

How do you think the story will develop at the party? Check all that apply.
TiliK225 [7]

Benvolio will be right, and Romeo will forget all about Rosaline.

Romeo and Benvolio will be revealed as Montagues, and a fight will break out.

Juliet will make a decision about whether she wants to marry Paris.

The question asks about your personal opinion when it says, "What do you think". However, there are some choices that make the most sense based on what you know because of any prior knowledge you have of the story and the prologue. We know that Romeo will not be with Rosaline in the end, so it would be logical to think that she is no longer a love interest of his when he sees Juliet at the party. Also, the prologue mentions that there will be new mutiny in regards to the ancient grudge, so we can expect more fighting. Last, we know that Juliet has to make a decision about marrying Paris at the party because of the conversation she had with her mother. Of course, we know what that decision will be, but still.
