Answer:

C and D

Explanation:

Telegraph was developed by 2 different teams of researchers who were from Britain and the U.S. but the final improved touch added to it was by Samuel Morse a former painter who moved from Europe to America. The aim was to make communication faster and better. It also marked the beginning of Communication revolution in the 1800s.

Before the telegraph was invented the earlier methods of communications were drumbeats or smoke signals and semaphore (mostly used in railroads during the 1790s) these weren’t effective enough because they had limitations such as the weather and misinterpretation of the original message. So, when this mode of communication was invented it covered the whole American continent by 1861 and expanded even to Europe by 1866. Business community were also the beneficiary party of this invention as they were getting updated information faster. Western Union was the first company to make use of it. Families hadn't need to wait for months to receive messages from their loved ones.

I live in Michigan. I went to Iowa and killed someone. I then went to Florida for vacation. I got caught for the Iowa murder whi
luda_lava [24]

Answer:

In this situation, you will be tried in Iowa, because that is the state where you committed the crime. It does not matter that you live in Michigan or that you went on vacation in Florida, and were caught there.

The reason is that section 2 of Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution obliges states to return fugitives to the state where they are being prosecuted for a crime.

This section also obliges states to guarantee residents of oher states the same legal rights and protections that they guarantee to their own residents, so you as a resident of Michigan, will have the right to a fair trial in Iowa, as if you were an Iowa resident.
