Nancy is a 29-year-old new mom. Her baby girl is three months old and seemingly healthy. There were no complications with the pr

egnancy. Nancy is hoping to breastfeed their baby for 12 months to ensure good health and reduce the risk of certain diseases. The challenge for Nancy is to learn and understand more about nutrition because she never thought much about it prior to getting pregnant. She wants to provide enough nutritious milk for her baby, but she also wants to lose more of her pregnancy weight and get back to her usual self—she was 5 feet 9 inches and 125 pounds before getting pregnant. How should Nancy change her diet and what are the needs of her quickly growing baby?

Answer:

The answer is Nancy should make an appointment with several physicians such as  a pediatrician, an endocrinologist , and a nutrologist. So that she can get the correct information.

Explanation:

Because each of these doctors will give her the correct orientation to lose weight without putting her baby's health and development in danger.

When a woman breastfeeds she loses a lot of calories and water. To produce 01 Liter of milk she needs to drink at least 03 Liters of water. She needs to eat lots of vegetables, fruits, meats, fish, carbs, fat, and take vitamins. Because from these food, she will get zinc, minerals, calcium, potassium, glucose, and other important sources of energy for her and her child.

The pediatrician will guide her in her baby's care. The endocrinologist will check her hormones and guide her through a health diet for her condition, and the nutrologist will explain what food is important in her daily routine.

It is important for her to understand that, even though she wants to lose the baby weight, she cannot put herself in danger. Otherwise she will produce little and poor nutrient milk and her baby will not develop well.

The physician ordered 0.4 ml of potassium iodide (iostate) expectorant. the label reads 325 mg/tsp. how many milligrams are cont
Vinvika [58]

One teaspoon is equivalent to 4.92892 milliliters which is very close to 5 milliliter. So the steps in looking for the milligrams contained, first divide the 325 milligrams to the 1 teaspoon then multiplying it to 1 teaspoon divided by 5 milliliters then multiplying that to the 0.4 milliliter of potassium iodide.

Milligrams contained = (325 mg / 1 tsp) x (1 tsp / 5 mL) x 0.4 mL = 26 milligrams.

yanalaym [24]

The correct answer would be option D, Arnold's risk for coronary heart disease.

The nature of the physician's concern is Arnold's risk for coronary heart disease.

Explanation:

A coronary heart disease is a disease which builds up in a human body when the arteries of the heart become narrow. These are the coronary arteries, which becomes narrow due to this disease.

Coronary arteries are responsible for supplying oxygen and blood to the heart. So when these blood vessels become narrow, there will be problem in supplying oxygen and blood to the heart. The amount of oxygen and blood will decrease while passing through the narrow channel.
