Answer:e. the misinformation effect.

Explanation:

The misinformation effect occurs when the preexisting Information about what we had previously experienced or seen is altered by the introduction of post event information.

When even a minor unnoticiable Information is brought up after an event is is likely to change what one remembers about what happened.

This misinformation effect is likely to affect the accuracy of what one recalls which may even result to false memories.

Reading a newspaper introduced a post event information which altered what the person recalls about what they have seen.

An american traveling abroad observes locals eating chocolate covered crickets. she expresses disgust to her traveling companion
Harman [31]

She is likely exhibiting ethnocentrism. This is being defined as a way of showing judgement towards to other cultures based on their own standards that they are accustomed of or in their own culture. The American likely acted that way after seeing crickets to be eaten by locals because it is not normal or a tradition for their culture to eat bugs or even cover them with chocolates as they eat it.

You conclude that Carla is a naturally anxious woman. You ignore the fact that Carla is currently working on a tight-deadline pr
pochemuha

Answer: The fundamental Attribution

Explanation:

The fundamental attribution error which is also referred to as overattribution bias which occurs when we tend to focus more on personality based descriptions and under emphasize the explanations of situations that surround them.

When people do particular things or react certain way to situations we tend to focus on the kind or type of people they are and attribute those actions to their personality trait and forget about the environment that surround them and the impact if can exert on them

Like the attribution that Carla is an anxious woman whilst not taking note of her hectic schedule that is brought by her tight deadline project which is putting pressure on her to be anxious not because she is anxious woman.

skad [1K]

Answer:

"industry vs. inferiority" stage

Explanation:

Erik Erikson proposed a theory about social and emotional development along people's lifespan. According to him, people go through different stages in life that are manifested as "crisis" where two different options present to the people and they create anxiety. Eventually, the person is inclined towards one of the two options available and solves the crisis and moves on to the next stage.

Erikson's fourth psychosocial crisis, is called "industry vs. inferiority" occurs between the ages of five and twelve.

During this stage, the child feels the need to win approval by demonstrating specific competencies that are valued by society and begin to develop a sense of pride in their accomplishments. When they are reinforced for their initiative they will feel industrious (competent) and confident in their ability to achieve goals. If they are not reinforced, they might feel inferior, doubting their own abilities and not reaching their full potential and can develop a feeling of inferiority.

Sammy is in third grade, so he must be around 9 years old, he won the spelling bee and felt proud about it since he demonstrated a specific competency in his school (thus he felt competent), however, when he couldn't complete his arithmetic assignment he felt incompetent (this could case him feelings of inferiority or doubt of his own abilities).

We can see how Sammy is in the "industry vs. inferiority" stage where he's looking to be competent and developing a sense of pride in his accomplishments.
