Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  did so many good things for African American people. King leaded a boycott of bus segregation. The move lasts 381 days and ends with the US Supreme Court's decision to prohibit discrimination.

King organized black civil rights campaigns based on the Indian leader Gandhi's philosophy of nonviolence. In 1960 it manages to free black access to libraries, public parks and cafeterias. Leads the March on Washington, which brings together 250,000 people in 1963.

He was killed by a white man.

If he had not been killed, he could have achieved many improvements for African Americans. As a result of his death, the struggle of blacks, not only Americans, but blacks from other countries was inspired to fight for their rights, a new way of fighting for equality was seen.

Perhaps if he had not been murdered there would not have been so many good consequences and a good reaction from black people around the world who see him as an inspiration even after so many years.

kompoz [17]

Answer: The cities in the second half of the nineteenth century represented both best and worst of American life in such a way that: The cities were more established as citizens could enjoy cheaper and better products. The introduction of factories and industries overtook the small farmers.

The industries were more along the city as compared to the urban land which lead to migration of people from urban land to the cities.

There were skyscrapers, light bulbs and other technologies available to the people.

The worst part was small farmers now had no source of income. The people lived so closed in the city that the disease could not easily spread because of overcrowding.

Pollution started increasing, corruption, disease and crime were some of the problems which was faced by America in the second half of the nineteenth century.

Arlo is offered a job in Des Moines, where the CPI is 60, and a job in New York, where the CPI is 125. Arlo's job offer in Des M
lana [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is  $100,000.

Explanation:

CPI or Consumer Price Index uses a basket of goods approach that aims to compare a consistent base of products from year to year focusing on products that are bought and used by consumers daily.

In the example, we can solve the question by using the simple "rule of 3" considering that the purchasing power is directly proportional to the income received and the CPI of the place where we are located. We will have:

(48 000)/60=  x/125

125(48000) = 60(x)

x = 100000

So, a job in New York should offer $100,000 for the two salaries to represent the same buying power.

andrey2020 [161]

Answer:

GTP hydrolysis

Explanation:

GTP hydrolysis :

Dynamic insecurity results from the biochemical and auxiliary properties of the polymerizing αβ-tubulin subunits and how they interface with the small scale tubule grid. Un polymerized, GTP-bound αβ-tubulin sub units amass into microtubules, where their GTPase movement is significantly quickened.

In rural areas, watch for advance __________ signs that mark approaching intersections.
Otrada [13]

Although traffic in rural areas is lower, these roads are as dangerous as the highways. There are some potential hazards due to the lack of transparency of the areas where high levels of accident are recorded, and which should be marked. Installing warning signs in advance, and at intersections, will provide drivers information about the intersection, which is why they act more responsibly before the upcoming crossroads.

The answer is: warning.
