Odysseus without thinking about it, had a comeback to the insult Antinous had said. By then Antinous was really angry, and ended up throwing a tantrum. He threw a stool at Odysseus/Beggar, and no one agreed with this action that Antinous took. The news of what Antinous did made way to Penelope, who wasn't happy with Antionous's actions toward the beggar. She then questions the Beggar.
