After a model rocket reached its maximum height, it then took 5.0 seconds to return to the launch site. what is the approximate
kifflom [539]
Air resistance is ignored.
g = 9.8 m/s².
At maximum height, the vertical velocity is zero.

Let h =  the maximum height reached.
Let u =  the vertical launch velocity.

Because ot takes 5.0 seconds to reach maximum height, therefore
(u m/s) - (9.8 m/s²)*(5 s) = 0
u = 49 m/s

The maximum height reached is
h = (49 m/s)*(5 s) - (1/2)*(9.8 m/s²)*(5 s)²
   = 122.5 m

Answer: 122.5 m

A cube with edges exactly 2 cm long is made of material with a bulk modulus of 3.5 x 109 n/m2. when it is subjected to a pressur
Igoryamba

As we know by the formula of bulk modulus

B = \frac{\Delta P}{-\Delta V/V}

now we can rearrange it as

\Delta V/V = -\frac{\Delta P}{B}

V_f - V = -V\frac{\Delta P}{B}

now the final volume after pressure is applied is given as

V_f = V(1 - \frac{\Delta P}{B})

now we know that

\Delta P = 3 \times 10^5 Pa

V = 2^3 cm^3 = 8 cm^3

B = 3.5 \times 10^9 N/m^2

now plug in all data

V_f = 8(1 - \frac{3 \times 10^5}{3.5 \times 10^9})

V_f = 7.999 cm^3

so volume is above after pressure is applied over it

A positive point charge Q is fixed on a very large horizontal frictionless tabletop. A second positive point charge q is release
Scilla [17]

Answer:

(A) As it moves farther and farther from Q, its speed will keep increasing.

Explanation:

When a positive charge Q is fixed on a horizontal frictionless tabletop and a second charge q is released near to it then according to the Coulombs law the force acting on it decreases with the square of the distance between them.

Mathematically:

F=\frac{1}{4\pi.\epsilon_0} \times \frac{Q.q}{r^2}

where:

r = distance between the charges

\epsilon_0= permittivity of free space

By the Newtons' second law of motion if the we know that the acceleration is directly proportional to the force applied. So as  the distance between the charges increases the its acceleration also decreases therefore now the charge feels less acceleration but still continues to accelerate with a fading magnitude.
