Answer:

Tthe sentence which can be revised to eliminate redundancies is

B: Juan was costumed in disguise when he entered the room.

Explanation:

Redundancy in a sentence refers to same data being used more than once in a sentence just by using a different word. It doesn’t make a sentence grammatically wrong, but more than one similar word seems unnecessary. They make the writing weak and not appealing. So, redundancy should be avoided while writing.

In the given sentences, Juan was costumed in disguise when he entered the room has redundancy. “In disguise” means when one is dressed differently or has made a different appearance. So, given sentence can be written as “Juan was disguised when he entered the room”. Writing “costumed in disguise” makes the sentence redundant.

kiruha [24]

Answer:

Unreliable

Explanation:

An unreliable narrator is the narrator of a story whose point of view is compromised, and thus the way the individual describes events unfolding in the story, cannot be trusted as an honest account of what is actually happening. It is a form of first-person narrative style. The unreliability of the narrator can be attributed to their age, their mental instability, or the fact that the narrator might be the culprit of a crime. One of the main hallmarks of the unreliable narrator is a plot twist occurring by the end of the story.

Examples of stories that use this type of narration are The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Lolita, Life of Pi, and many of Edgar Allen Poe's and Agatha Christie's stories.

How is the word laud and welcome different
Luba_88 [7]

Hi my dear friend,

Definition of laud: praise (a person or their achievements) highly, especially in a public context.

welcome:an instance or manner of greeting someone.

I dont see how these could be similar but they are similar in greeting someone. Yet one is greeting someones achievements and the other greeting someone to a place ( home, food area etc.)

~Thank you
