B. Farmers will be able to utilize more land, resulting in a decrease in the number of floods.
C. Less oxygen will be used by the trees, so more oxygen will be in the atmosphere for humans and other animals to use.

Answer:

The answer is A)

Explanation:

Trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. Fewer trees can lead to a high concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. If the forest or felled trees are burned, which they often are, it released carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is the most common gas that is released by humans. That means the anthropogenic cause of enhanced climate change will be increased. Floods will increase as less interception and less vegetation storage is causing the ground to become saturated quickly and this leads to floods. The water cycle in the are will be disrupted and so to will the nutrient cycle as there are fewer plants and fewer animals to provide nutrients.

A cognitive psychologist conducts a study to examine differences in cognitive functioning across stages of adulthood. He opts to  study one group of young adults ages 21-28. one group of middle-aged adults aged 41-48, and one group of older adults ages 61- 68- The psychologist finding that  that the middle age  group outperforms the older group is a valid criticism to the study's conclusion

Explanation:

A cognitive psychologist concludes that age relates to cognitive performance on these tasks.This statement means that as a person age's its ability to perform the cognitive task declines .In the study conducted between the various age group the cognitive psychologist where able to find that the people in their middle age (i.e. between 41-48) were able to perform the cognitive task is a better way than the people in the older group. and the younger group was able to perform the cognitive task much better than the middle and the old age group.

Now their is no need for the  comparison of the middle age and the old age people for performing the task because as er the conclusion the cognitive skills decline with the age.

So,the psychologist finding that  that the middle age  group outperforms the older group is a valid criticism to the study's conclusion

Ruth Palladium bought 10 acres of land and built a house on 2.0 acres. RuPd wanted to raise sheep on the remaining 8.0 acres. If
-BARSIC- [3]

Answer:

\boxed{\text{26 sheep}}

Explanation:

1. Convert acres to hectares

1 ha = 2.471 ac

\text{Area} = \text{8 ac} \times \dfrac{\text{1 ha}}{\text{2.471 ac}} = \text{3.2 ha}

2. Calculate the number of sheep

You can put 1 sheep on 0.125 ha

\text{No. of sheep} = \text{3.2 ha} \times \dfrac{\text{1 sheep}}{\text{0.125 ha}} = \textbf{26 sheep}\\\\\text{RuPd can raise $\boxed{\textbf{26 sheep}}$ on 8 ac}\\

4. One of the goals of macroeconomic policy is to reduce the severity of business cycles.
lisov135 [29]

A. In a business cycle there are ups and downs. When there is a peak or a high business is booming and employment is high, unemployment is down and inflation is high.

B. We have to bear in mind that there are four kinds of unemployment: structural, frictional, cyclical and seasonal. Structural unemployment is caused by the type of production and rules of an economy that govern whose abilities are valued in the market so it is not so realated to the business cycle. frictional unemployment is linked with changing jobs ( workers are moving or searching for better opportunities) so this is not so related to the business cycle. Cyclical unemployment is related to the change in the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) so<u> it is related to the business cycle</u>, Seasonal employment is associated with changes in the season so it is no so related to the business cycle.
