Read the excerpt from “The Scarlet Ibis.” Doodle was frightened of being left. “Don’t go leave me, Brother,” he cried, and he le
Harrizon [31]
When Doodle keeps crying, "Don't leave me. Don't leave me," the reader is being prepared for the fact that his brother will, in fact, leave Doodle. Unfortunately, when he does leave Doodle, the results will be disastrous.

Doodle, as we know, is not a healthy child. The narrator struggles with having a sickly brother but soon comes to love him. Although Doodle remains weak, he eventually learns to crawl. The narrator vows to teach him to walk so he can be normal.

The two practice in secret and soon Doodle learns to walk. The narrator is not satisfied with these results and pushes his sick brother to go further. They train in the swamp, far from the house, so they do not get in trouble.

As they are "training," a storm comes in. Doodle has already been tired from his training and does not have the ability to run home. The narrator, however, runs home to escape the storm, leaving Doodle behind. When the narrator goes back to look for him, he finds Doodle has collapsed and died. The blood on his neck connects him to the scarlet ibis they earlier found dead. Both were fragile and both were alone when they died.

The narrator deserves a certain amount of blame for not only pushing his brother further then he was capable but also of leaving him behind during the frightening storm. Therefore, the best answer is that Doodle yelling "Don't leave me" best foreshadows when "the narrator races ahead and leaves Doodle to struggle behind during a terrible storm."

Compare the words slow and foe. How are they alike? How are they different?
Lena [83]

Slow: Is alike with foe, because they both rhyme, and is different, because it means to be moving at a low speed. Foe: Alike in the sense that it rhymes, and different because it means your enemy or opponent. These two words can also be alike, because they both mean "annoying things".

Write an essay comparing and contrasting the depiction of the character Macbeth in Shakespeare’s play Macbeth and in Raphael Hol
alexira [117]

Answer:

In both Holinshed and Shakespeare's work, Macbeth is the main character that the audience anticipates. Holinshed created an admirable gent who did not want the death of Mackdonwald. But Shakespeare makes Macbeth a villain by making the character glory being a murderer. Shakespeare changed Macbeth from his Holinshed inspiration to discuss the political issues of his play.Albeit the vast majority of Shakespeare's play " Mac Beth " isn't truly precise, MacBeth's life is the subject of the disaster. There are characters and occasions that depend on obvious occasions and genuine people at the same time, Shakespeare's "Macbeth " varies altogether from history's Macbeth. The primary case of a contrast between the Shakespeare "Macbeth" and verifiable Mac Beth is the demise of Duncan I. In Shakespeare's " Mac Beth ", Duncan I was killed by Macbeth.A prediction said to Mac Beth by one of the three witches "All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be King hereafter1 ." was what incited Gruoch, MacBeth's better half to plot the homicide of Duncan I as he rested in their mansion. Ever, Mac Beth built up himself as the King of Scots in the wake of slaughtering his cousin Duncan I, fighting close Elgin not as in Shakespeare's play by executing him in his rest. Duncan, I was executed on August 14, 1040. Macintosh Beth at that point ruled as ruler for a long time. As recently expressed Duncan I and Mac Beth were cousins, a reality not brought out in the play.
