Answer:

B)It has no set meter.

Free verse poetry does not have a set meter or rhyme scheme. It has no specific structure. Free verse poetry can have as many stanzas as the poet chooses so this is not a deciding trait. Free verse poetry can also use figurative language such as alliteration, onomatopoeia, hyperbole, metaphor, simile, symbolism, etc. These do not make it free verse. The same goes for repetition. Repeating words does not make a free verse poem free verse or not free verse.

Emily: I never felt so alone in my whole life. And George over there, looking so...I hate him. I wish I were dead. Papa! Papa!
Maru [420]
It’s clear that George and Emily feel hopeless in this situation. They do not want to be marry, but they are being forced to. Universality is when something may apply to a large group of people, maybe even everyone, such as universal themes.

Emily and George’s reluctance shows this to many different types of groups. Smaller groups of people who are forced in to arranged marriages or pressured to marry a person they don’t love can greatly relate to this, as they feel trapped in a fate that they don’t like and don’t want to go through with.

However, on a bigger scale, it can also apply to everyone. Every single person on this planet has had moments where they’ve felt utterly trapped and hopeless when being forced to do something or witness something. It could be as small as being called on by the teacher when you don’t know the answer to the question, or as big as being forced to live with someone who you don’t like for the rest of your life.

This reluctance that Emily and George show in their following through with their marriage can be relatable to everybody, no matter on what scale that relatability can be found.

Paradox of social injustice => "I, Too". Hughes depicts the social inequality of black people, who are traditionally confined to servitude. He hopes, however, that this will change eventually.

Uses set meter and rhyme scheme => "From the Dark Tower". The poem's rhyme scheme is ABBA.

Symbol of wasted effort => "From the Dark Tower". Black people are the ones who plant, while white people reap.

Stone of anger and resentment => "From the Dark Tower". It depicts black people's anger at being constantly and systematically oppressed.

Uses free verse => "I, Too". Hughes' poem has a conversational tone. The free verse depicts the inner freedom that the speaker feels, and wants to transform into real freedom and equality.

Adjust the percentage of Chris investments to make his portfolio one with potential for high growth
Leni [432]

Answer:

Deducting some percentage of amount from savings and investing them in bonds will give higher rates.

Explanation:

It is believed that bond is better than savings. Stocks and bonds together are as good as mutual funds and saving accounts together. So, Chris should increase the investment in Stock and deduct that amount from mutual. Also, he can deduct some amount form savings and invest in bonds. This would give him higher interest rates.

In a nutshell, there is some amount in mutual and some amount in savings, which would be beneficial in case there is any loss in stock and bonds.
