Answer:

The answer is indeed option A. <u>To wonder, "Do I dare?" and, "Do I dare?"</u>

<u />

Explanation:

The speaker in the poem "The Love Song of Alfred J. Prufrock" expresses his feeling of indecision when he asks himself, "Do I dare?" The poem, by T. S. Eliot, revolves around the speaker's feeling of disillusionment and isolation. Prufrock seems to feel emasculated, incapable of finding carnal satisfaction, as well as spiritually inert. Throughout the poem, he anxiously pictures scenarios in his mind, afraid of how women shall see him, what they'll say about him, afraid of rejection.

He says there is still time, but in a most pessimistic way. In his mind, there will be time for more suffering, more rejection, more doubt. And, even if he ends up deciding to do something - go out and effectively interact with people -, he thinks it will only confirm his fears of being criticized and left out.

Immigrant children then, had to go through medical tests to see if they had any diseases. You still have to presently so that's a thing that didn't change. When you arrived to where you were immigrating to you would have to stand in lines with other immigrants and get signed in on paper to let the workers or helpers know that you were there. Some challenges todays immigrant children face are: Lack of paper work, the ability to attend school, and language barriers. Some challenges they immigrants then and the immigrants now face are the same but they were all tough!
