Carla and Marty have three straws. The straws have lengths 8 inches, 10 inches and 14 inches. They are going to use their straws

to form a triangle. Carla predicts that they will be able to make at least two different triangles. Marty predicts that each of their triangles will be exactly the same, so there is really only one triangle that can be formed. Who is correct? Explain your reasoning.

Carla is correct because they will not all be exactly the same unless they choose to make them all be the same. Hope I could help! :D
