Answer:

Hide command suppresses the visibility of a particular row or column in a worksheet

Explanation:

Hide command is used to hide the row or column in an excel worksheet. To suppress the visibility of a particular row or column in a worksheet, you have to select that particular row or column and then right-click on column or row header. A popup screen will appear as like when you refresh the computer. Then on this screen, at the bottom, you will find the hide command, click the hide command. And, as you click the hide command that particular row or column will become invisible. if you want to show it again, click the Unhide command. Therefore, hide command suppresses the visibility of a particular row or column.

Why other options are not correct

Autofit

Autofit command is used when you want that a particular cell of row or column to automatically adjust / or accommodate the content. Autofit command does not affect the visibility of a row or column.

Insert

Insert command is used to insert contents in a particular worksheet. Insert command is based on groups of various commands such as inserting tables, charts, graphs, text, symbols, add-ins, sparklines, and links.

Replace

Replace command is used in excel to replace the text with some other text. If you want to replace some text with some other text, then you have to use the replace command.

Write multiple if statements. If car_year is 1969 or earlier, print "Few safety features." If 1970 or later, print "Probably has
Kazeer [188]

Answer:

<em>import java.util.Scanner;</em>

<em>public class Hggg {</em>

<em>        public static void main (String [] args) {</em>

<em>            System.out.println("Enter the car make year");</em>

<em>            Scanner in = new Scanner(System.in);</em>

<em>            int car_year = in.nextInt();</em>

<em>            if (car_year<1969){</em>

<em>             System.out.println("Few safety features.");</em>

<em>            }</em>

<em>            else if (car_year>=1970 && car_year<1990){</em>

<em>                System.out.println("Probably has seat belts.");</em>

<em>            }</em>

<em>            else if (car_year>=1990 && car_year<2000){</em>

<em>                System.out.println("Probably has seat belts.");</em>

<em>                System.out.println("Probably has antilock brakes.");</em>

<em>            }</em>

<em>            else if (car_year>=2000){</em>

<em>                System.out.println("Probably has seat belts.");</em>

<em>                System.out.println("Probably has antilock brakes.");</em>

<em>                System.out.println("Probably has airbags.");</em>

<em>            }</em>

<em>        }</em>

<em>    }</em>

Explanation:

In this solution, multiple if statements have been used to accomplish each step. Observe that there are more than one print statements when year is greater than 1990 because the condition applied to year greater than 1970 holds true for every year greater than 1970 (1990, 2000 etc)

Consider the following method intended to modify the parameter names by removing all instances of the String n.
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

int i = 0; i < names.size(); i++

Explanation:

The ArrayList must be read in the forward direction, and it is going to start from 0 certainly. Also, the iteration is going to end when i is exactly one less than the size of the ArrayList. And this is possible only if we choose the option mentioned in the Answer section. In this, i starts from 0 and iterates till i is one less than name.size() which is the size of the ArrayList.

Compare the memory organization schemes of contiguous memory allocation and paging with respect to the following issues: a. Exte
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

The comparison is based on memory organization schemes of contiguous memory allocation and paging with respect to External fragmentation, Internal fragmentation and Ability to share code across processes.

Explanation:

Memory organization schemes of contiguous memory allocation:

Contiguous memory allocation schemes suffers from external fragmentation. The reason is that address space is distributed contiguously and the holes and gaps keep growing when the old processes die and new processes are introduced. The variable size partition suffers from external fragmentation however the fixed size partitions do not suffer from external fragmentation. Contiguous memory allocation with variable size partitions does not encounter an internal fragmentation but with fixed size partitions suffers from internal fragmentation. Contiguous memory allocation does not support sharing code across processes. This is because the virtual memory segment of a process is not fragmented into non-contiguous fine grained blocks.

Paging:

Paging does not encounter external fragmentation as pages are of the fixed or equal size. So this reduces external fragmentation. However paging suffers from internal fragmentation. This is because a process can request more space or it can request for a less space. When page is allocated to the such a process that page is no longer utilized.This results in internal fragmentation because of the wastage of space even when the page has internal space but cannot be fully utilized. Paging allows to share code across processes.
