guidelines. Day-shift employees must park in Lots A and Bin their assigned spaces. If they have not registered their cars and received their white stickers, the cars will be ticketed.Day-shift employees are forbidden to park at the curb. Swing-shift employees may parkat the curb before 3:30 p.m. Moreover, after 3:30 p.m., swing-shift employees may park in anyempty space – except those marked Tandem, Handicapped, Van Pool, Car Pool, orManagement. Dear All,

Sub- ABC’s parking guidelines for employees

Greetings to all!

We have observed that the parking lot is highly congested and takes most of our valuable time in identifying, locating and taking our vehicles. All employees need to follow the below procedure to facilitate an organized parking space to reduce the waiting time in taking our vehicles.

Registration of vehicles is mandatory and it needs to be done with Employee Relations. After registration, ensure to receive the white stickers from the employee relations. Note- If the vehicles does not have white stickers, it would be ticketed.

Day-shift employees must park in Lots A and B in their assigned spaces.

Day-shift employees are forbidden to park at the curb.

Swing-shift employees may park at the curb before 3:30 pm

After 3:30 pm, swing-shift employees may park at any empty space except those marked Tandem, Handicapped, Van-pool, Car Pool or management.

Day-shift employees may loan their spaces to other employees if they know they will not be using them.

Procedure for registration-

           - Contact Team: Employee Relations

           - Venue: Cafeteria

           - Date: May 12th and 13th

           - Time: 11:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m and 3 p.m to 5 p.m

It is pertinent to note that you receive the white stickers from Employee Relations after you register the vehicles. If the vehicles do not have white stickers, then they will be ticketed.

We expect a high level of cooperation from you to have an organized parking space to reduce the traffic congestion which consumes most of our time.

Look forward to receiving your participation and cooperation.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Adelle Justice

Porter Company uses standard costs for its manufacturing division. Standards specify 0.1 direct labor hours per unit of product.
kkurt [141]

Answer:

1,370.85 Unfavorable

Explanation:

Standard rate :

= Budgeted variable overhead costs ÷ Budgeted direct labor hours

= $13500 ÷ 640

Direct labor hours = $21.09 per direct labor hour

Standard time to produce goods :

= Budgeted direct labor hours  ÷ Production volume

= 640 ÷ 6,400

= 0.10 hours

VOH Efficiency Variance

= ( SH − AH ) × SR

where,

SH are standard direct labor hours allowed

AH are the actual direct labor hours

SR is the standard variable overhead rate

(SH − AH ) × SR

= [(4,200 × 0.10) - 485] × $21.09

= (420 - 485) × $21.09

= 1,370.85 Unfavorable

sammy [17]

Answer:

The accumulated depreciation amounts for buildings $35,000 and for equipment $60,000 were obtained as the differences between the costs and the book values of the assets.  The cost of a long-term asset is usually reduced to its book value by the total amount in the accumulated depreciation account.  The accumulated depreciation account shows the progressive amounts set aside annually as a write-off of the asset, showing its use over the period in accordance with the accrual concept and matching principle.  The accrual concept and matching principle require cost to be matched to the revenue it helps to generate.

Various financial data for SunPath Manufacturing for 2019 and 2020 follow. 2019 2020 Output: Sales $ 300,000 $ 330,000 Inputs: L
erik [133]

Answer:

22.20%

Explanation:

Energy Productivity Ratio 2019 = 300,000 / 10,000 = 30

Energy Productivity Ratio 2020 = 330,000 / 9,000 = 36.66

The percentage change = (36.66-30)/30 * 100

The percentage change = 0.222 * 100

The percentage change = 22.20%

So, the percentage change in the energy partial productivity measure for SunPath between 2019 and 2020 is 22.20%
