They used to help in many house work and to respect more the decisions of their parents. They had their time to play but many of the things they did had to do with playing innocent and sometimes were accompanied with antics and naughtiness. Todays teenagers are more independent from their house chores and their parents. Remember that before world war, many of the teenagers were enroled in activities related to that war so they received better discipline that those from this epoch. The similarities can be a few, some of them could be sumarized in the fact that teenagers, even independent, were not used to go from home until they were grown ups or adults
