We need to find the time at which there will be more than 45 gallons of water in the pond

From the graph we can find that when the y co-ordinate is 45, the corresponding x co-ordinate has a value of 11 . This implies that at 11 minutes there are 45 gallons of water remaining in the pond. Also we can see that before 11 minutes we have more that 45 gallons of water in the pond and after 11 minutes the water decreases from 45 gallons and is always less than that.

So for all time values lesser than 11 minutes we have 45 gallons or more of water in the pond. Hence we can choose any values less than 11.
