Answer: B nature should be respected and honored

D social and financial concerns often test our loyalties

Explanation:Despite her transcendent experience with the heron, Sylvia still intends to help the hunter find and kill it. At this moment, the temptations of monetary reward and human relationships are stronger than the moral need to conserve nature.

The ending suggests that nature provides consolation for what one loses through experience. Though one may feel lonely, one can take comfort in the gifts of nature.

What is the overall tone of this poem? Hap by Thomas Hardy If but some vengeful god would call to me From up the sky, and laugh:
rjkz [21]
In Thomas Hardy's Hap, the speaker ponders about how it would be more bearable to think that all of his misfortunes happen because a greater power has decided so, than the reality (by his perspective) which is that his bad luck in life was a result of random chance and unfortunate coincidence.

Because of his ponderance, we could say that this poem shows a reflective speaker. While some people think that this shows a pessimist thinker, Hardy was known for his realistic vision of life.

Therefore, your best answer is reflective.

Why were Annabeth and Grover so eager to leave when they finished eating? *
erica [24]

Answer:

Because the Summer Solstice was nearing and because Ares had them nervous and because they were fugitives.

Explanation:

They had only a few days left before the summer solstice would pass. But they were hungry so they stopped for a quick bite or two. After scraping up a few dollars they bought a burger and settled down. To their surprise, Ares came in and sat down beside them and bought them another burger. He handed them a bag of supplies, a warning and was gone. With tension and responsibility on their shoulders, they wanted to leave and get things done.
