Answer:

When trying to build an independent business brand where I would be the sole distributor of printing papers in my college.

I will need his support to help me analyze the feasibility of this venture, my target customers, number of students in the college, number of printing papers used on a daily average, the existing competition, what I have to do to become a part of that competition, if this venture would affect my studies, if I can combine both schooling and being an entrepreneur, and if I have legal rights to carry out such business on campus?

I would write out a formal breakdown of my dreams and business aspirations and reiterate how much I admire his guidance and would love him to help me through this phase as I realize it would be overwhelming. I would assure him of sticking to the main reason why I am in school and how this would not get in the way of I getting good grades from school.

Kipish [7]

Answer:

Number of teenagers= 100 teenager

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

The county government released $100,000 as an appropriation for a counseling program for at-risk teenagers. The variable costs for the program are $400 per teenager per year. Within the relevant range of 50 to 150 teenagers, the fixed costs for the program are $60,000.

First, we need to deduct the fixed costs that remain don't affect directly the teenagers.

Budget= 100,000 - 60,000= 40,000

Now, we can calculate the number of teenagers to attend:

Number of teenagers= 40,000/400= 100 teenagers

Suire Corporation is considering dropping product D14E. Data from the company's accounting system appear below: Sales $ 670,000
Marina86 [1]

Answer:

a. According to the company's accounting system, what is the net operating income earned by product D14E? (Net losses should be indicated by a minus sign.)

  • net loss -$65,000

b. What would be the financial advantage (disadvantage) of dropping product D14E? Should the product be dropped?

  • financial disadvantage of discontinuing the produce is -$68,000, so the company should not discontinue the product since its losses would increase

Explanation:

total sales $670,000

- variable expenses $295,000

- fixed manufacturing expenses $246,000

- fixed selling and administrative expenses $194,000

net loss = $65,000

if product D14E is discontinued, $196,000 + $111,000 = $307,000, of fixed expenses can be avoided, but $133,000 are not avoidable. if the company discontinues the product, its losses will increase by $133,000 - $65,000 = $68,000
