Suppose that a scientist deletes the AAUAAA consensus sequence, the poly(A) tail, or the 5' cap from pre‑mRNAs in an mRNA. She t

hen observes the effects on RNA regulation. Assign each RNA regulation consequence to the type of deletion most likely to result in the consequence.
1. AAUAAA deletion
2. Poly(A)‑tail deletion
3. 5' cap delatation

A. Introns are not removed from pre m-RNA

Answer:

AAUAA deletion- (B )

Poly(A) tail deletion- (C)

5' cap deletion- (A)

Explanation:

(A) introns are not removed from the pre-mRNA due to 5' deletion;

(B) the pre-mRNA is not cleaved at the cleavage site due to AAUAA deletion

(C) the mRNA is not transported to the cytoplasm due to poly A tail deletion;

AAUAA deletion: if we delete the AAUAA sequence then there is the change of sequence of pre- mRNA that the pre-mRNA is not cleaved at the cleavage site .

Poly(A) tail deletion: Poly(A) tail is the long tail of Adenine in the 3' end of mRNA, after the deletion of Poly(A) tail, it affects the transport of mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm and the mRNA is not transported to the cytoplasm if tail is deleted.

5' cap deletion; the effect of 5' cap deletion is that introns are not removed from the pre-mRNA. The process of intron removing and exon joining is called RNA splicing.

Alicia is being tickled by her older sister. which divisions of the nervous system are receiving the signals from her sister’s f
Finger [1]

In this case, when Alicia is being tickled by her older sister, the divisions of the nervous system which are responsible for receiving the signals from her sister’s fingers are called somatosensory cortex and anterior cingulated cortex nervous system.

When you are touched lightly, the effect of having that ticklish sensation is caused by the analysis of two regions of the brain. For example, when our brain analyses the pressure of the touch, this is the work of the somatosensory cortex. On the other hand, as soon as something touches your skin, the signal sent from the skin's sensory receptors also passes through the anterior cingulated cortex.This is where the pleasant feelings are governed.

The Coriolis Effect is caused by Earth’s uneven distribution of heat AND ________________.
SCORPION-xisa [38]

The rotation of the earth

The Coriolis Effect is caused by Earth’s uneven distribution of heat AND the rotation of the earth

Explanation:

Due to the spherical nature of the earth, when it spins, around its axis, different latitudes spin at different rates. The nearer to the pole you get the slower the earth’s spins (approx 0.00008 kilometers/hr), while this spin is fastest at the equator ( approx1,600 kilometers/hr). Due to this differential spin, ocean and winds currents (while they move polewards due to convection) are deflected as they move towards the pole from the equator. Towards the North, they are deflected westwards while towards the South they are deflected eastwards.
