Answer:

invasive species

Explanation:

Invasive species are those that are not usually belonging to a said population. Aside from a few of them escaping a breeding facility during a hurricane some were also placed there by persons who used to own them as pets and could not care for them anymore. These snakes that were not native to the are began feeding and existing in an ecosystem that is not their own. The natural balance of the eco-system was interrupted and cause the biodiversity to rapidly decline. This is because the pythons do not have a natural predator in the Florida everglades and can reproduce and grow unchecked. Wildlife conservationist are now working to reduce these populations and trying to stabilize the ecosystem.

When Mendel crossed the pollen from a plant with green pods with a plant with yellow seed pods, all of the offspring had green s
natima [27]

Answer: This told him that the allele for a green pod is dominant to the allele for yellow pods.

Explanation: Dominant traits will express themselves even if the allele for the other trait is there. If all of the offspring were green even though they carried the allele for a yellow pod, green must be dominant.

Which plant cell organelle helps maintain the shape of the cell by helping to maintain turgor pressure? A) cell membrane B) cell
ZanzabumX [31]

Answer: The correct answer is- C) vacuole.

Large central Vacuole is a specialized fluid filled organelle, present only in plant cell. It is primarily involved in providing support and shape to the plant cell by maintaining the turgor pressure ( a hydrostatic force that is produced due to the cell contents against the inner side of the cell wall). The central vacuole stores water ( that flows through osmosis) and maintains turgor pressure in a plant cell.

Turgor pressure provides mechanical support and helps in the growth and development of plant.
