Answer:

Dear john,

Long time no see! Dad just built us a new house. It's okay I guess, it's 3 stories and has an elevator an stuff. According to mom its "the most prestige house in the neighborhood" whatever that means. You probably know what shes talking about. The only bad part is that its in the middle of nowhere. No cell service (hence why I'm sending you a letter instead of a text) , no neighbors, no mall, nothing. This place is a ghost town! Please come home from Europe soon. We all miss you.

Love,

Your little sis

Does girard succeed in presenting a valid interpretation of Shakespeares hamlets play
UNO [17]

Girard actually present a valid interpretation on the Hamlet. Girard argues that Hamlet, (which often considered as the greatest of the revenge tragedies, actually does not depict the true revenge)

I view revenge as actions in order to ahieve a certain satisfaction after the feeling of being treated unfairly. Hamlet on the other hand, potray both uncertainty in how he feel and no satisfaction whatsoever after doing it, which contradict the purpose of the murder in the first place)

Which line(s) from Ovid’s "Pyramus and Thisbe" reveal a plot detail?
sergejj [24]

Answer:

Delighted with their plan—impatiently—

they waited for the close of day.

Explanation:

Ovid's "Pyramus and Thisbe" is from his <em>Metamorphosis</em> that tells the love story of two young lovers who were denied the happy ending due to their family's refusal to allow their love to flower. And like loyal lovers, the two met their deaths on the very night they had planned to elope and ran away.

The line that reveals the plot detail is <u><em>"Delighted with their plan—impatiently—  they waited for the close of day."</em></u> These two lines reveal the moment these two lovers decided on their plan and thus, signify the rising action of the story. It shows the moment these two will act to save their love and be united, despite the opposition from both their parents.
