First solve the return in each price per unit

Return = number units sold x price per unit

Return1 = 5000 units x Php 900

Return1 = php 4,500,000

Next is solve the other price per unit

Return2 = number units sold x price per unit

Return2 = (5000 + 1500 units0 x ( php 900 – 100)

Return2 = php 5,200,000

So the php 800 per unit will have greater return

Answer: Php 800 per unit will given the greatest returns.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of units = 5000

Cost of each unit = Php 900.00

Total cost would be

5000\times 900\\\\=Php\ 4500000

If it increased by 1500 units.

So, the number of units = 5000+1500=6500

cost is decreased by Php 100.00

So, cost becomes 900-100=Php 800

So, total cost would be

6500\times 800\\\\=Php\ 5200000

So, Php 800 per unit will given the greatest returns.

The scores of the students on a standardized test are normally distributed, with a mean of 500 and a standard deviation of 110.
ololo11 [35]
Μ = 500, population mean
σ = 110, population stadard deviation

The given table is
z  0.00       0.25       0.35      0.45      1.00      1.26       1.35     1.36
P  0.5000  0.5987  0.6368  0.6736  0.8413  0.8961  0.9115  0.9131

Range of random variable is X = [350, 550].

Calculate z-score for x = 350.
z = (350 - 500)/110 = -1.364
From the given tables,
The probability at x = 350 is
1 - 9131 = 0.0869

Calculate the z-score for x = 550.
z = (550 - 500)/110 = 0.454
From the given tables,
The probability at x = 550 is 0.6736

The probability that x =[350,550] is
0.6736 - 0.0869 = 0.5867

Answer:  0.5867  (or 58.7%)

chubhunter [2.5K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given that a random sample of 50 university admissions officers was asked about expectations in application interviews.

Sample proportion = \frac{28}{50} =0.56

H_0: p = 0.5\\H_a: p >0.5\\

(Right tailed test at 5% significance level)

p difference = 0.06

Assuming H0 to be true p will have normal distribution with

std error = \sqrt{\frac{0.5*0.5}{50} } \\=0.0707

Test statistic = p difference/std error

=\frac{0.06}{0.0707} \\=0.8485

p value = 0.19808

Since p is greater than alpha, we accept null hypothesis

There is statistical evidence to support that the sample proporiton is only 0.50

In mathematics, the Nth harmonic number is defined to be 1 + 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/4 + ... + 1/N. So, the first harmonic number is 1, th
Andreyy89

Answer:

cl   +   1/(N+1)

Step-by-step explanation:

If we assume that the Nth harmonic number is cl. Then we are assuming that 1+1/2+1/3+1/4+...+1/N=cl

And we know that the (N+1)th harmonic number can be found by doing

1+1/2+1/3+1/4+...+1/N+1/(N+1)

=cl    +   1/(N+1)

The (N+1)th harmonic number is cl   +   1/(N+1) given that the Nth term is cl

Other way to see the answers:

Maybe you want to write it as a single fraction so you have

[cl(N+1)+1]/(N+1)=[cl*N+cl+1]/(N+1)
