Explain how, in the case of Pharaoh and Moses, God made the wrath of man to praise Him. Use complete sentences.
Ilya [14]
God hardens Pharaoh’s heart again to make him chase the Israelites. God will then save his people by parting the red sea for them to cross to the other side. God then rushes the water on the Egyptians and drowns them. In this way he makes himself glorified to the Israelites. God’s people will now see the power of the God who chose then.

Highlight all instances of parallel structure. There is no longer any room for hope. If we wish to be free—if we mean to preserv
Marat540 [252]

"If we wish to be free-if we mean to preserve", "if we mean not basely to abandon" AND "which we have been so long contending", "which we have been so long engaged", "which we have pledged".

Parallelism is the repetition of the same grammatical structure. There are two instances of parallel structure in this excerpt. The first is the "If we ___ to ___" structure. The second is the "which we have _______" structure. By filling the passage with this parallel structure is gives the sense of a list of reasons that all, compounding on top of one another, logically lead to the need to fight. The change from the parallel structures in the last line "we must fight!" makes this exclamation stand out and hold power.

Damm [24]
This scene occurs when Balfour is on the small islet. Balfour gives into despair when he tires to cross the river but cannot -- it is too deep. He finds that his "yard" (a piece of wood he was saving to float on) has been carried away. Believing he has no way to escape the islet, he gives into despair and weeps.

Rewrite this section of the story to better establish Mr. Valentine as a complex character?
SpyIntel [72]

Answer:

The passage has been re written using same old sequence but added new words that can intensify the character of Mr Valentine

Explanation:

Suddenly at 8:00 a.m., the doorbell rang. Paul walked to the door to see who rang the bell. When he opened the door, he discovered a short heightened, withered, white-haired man staring up at him with piercing blue eyes.

"Mr. Candor?" the man said in a voice that was much larger than he was. The voice was like there were more men speaking behind him. He started at me and then the home as if he was some investigating agency agent. He was carrying a bag which looked like a tool bag to me

"Uh, no, sir. My father isn't home right now" replied Paul.

"Mr. Paul Candor is who I'm looking for," said the man. "Is that you?"

"Oh, yes, sir. That's me. You must be my tutor," said Paul.

"Yes, I'm Mr. Valentine. Let's get to work."
