Answer: 26,709,665 shares.

Explanation:

Treasury stock refer to company stock that have to repurchased by the company. They are no longer to be counted amongst the shares outstanding.

At the beginning of the year 36,356,357 shares were issued and during the year, 558,765 more shares were issued.

In total,

= 36,356,357 + 558,765

= 36,915,122 shares were issued

Treasury stock amounted to,

= 7,171,269 + 3,034,188 (increase during the year)

= 10,205,457

To find the total outstanding shares we subtract the Treasury stock from the shares issued.

= 36,915,122 - 10,205,457

= 26,709,665

The number of shares outstanding at the end of the year is 26,709,665 shares.

Doubling the capacity of a bottleneck operation would theoretically always double the capacity of the process. Ignore waiting ti
nignag [31]

Answer: b) No

Explanation:

If you double the capacity of the bottleneck operation i.e the operation that has a limited capacity that is causing the entire project to slow down, it could work for removing the bottleneck from that particular operation. The problem however, is that this bottleneck might then be passed into another operation which will then slow down the entire process again.

Think of this this way, imagine there is constant traffic on one road with a double lane in a city and the city decides to up it to a four lane drive. The traffic subsides in that area but still continues on the road lane after the upgraded road which is a 2 lane as well.

The problem may have been fixed in one area but might just come up in another one.

leonid [27]

Answer:

Decrease by $1

Explanation:

Given:

Old data:

Q0 = 2,000 units

P0 = $20

Total revenue before change = 2,000 x $20 = $40,000

After change in Price.

Q1 = 2,100 units

P1 = $19

Total revenue After change = 2,100 x $19 = $39,900

Computation of Marginal Revenue:

Marginal Revenue = (P1 - P0) / (Q1 - Q0)

= ($39,900 - $40,000) / (2,100 - 2,000)

= -100 / 100

= $(-1)

Marginal revenue will decrease by $1
