The correct answer is:

A. Z and B are independent events because P(Z∣B) = P(Z).

Z and B are independent events because P(Z∣B) = P(Z) is true about whether Z and B are independent events.

Two events Z and B are said to be independent if event Z occuring does not prevent event B from happening. Then P(Z and B) = P(Z) · P(B)

Conditional event, P(Z | B) is given by P(Z and B)/P(B) = P(Z) · P(B) / P(B) = P(Z)

Now, P(Z | B) = P(Z and B) / P(B) = 126/280 = 0.45 and P(Z) = 297/660 = 0.45

Therefore, <span>Z and B are independent events because P(Z∣B) = P(Z).</span>

The polynomial function f(x)=-x^3+x^2+14x-24 has zeros at x=-4, x=3, and x=2. Which of the following graphs represents the funct
weqwewe [10]

Answer:

Assuming the choices are only of C and D, D would be the graph of the function.

Step-by-step explanation:

There are many things that would cause D to be the graph of f(x).

Firstly, D has the end behavior of a -x^{3} function.

Secondly, it has correct zeroes

Lastly, Its y-intercept is -24, which is the case of the function f(x) as

f(0) = -24

Translate triangle a by vector (-3/1)to give triangle b. Then rotate your triangle b 180 degrees around the origin to give trian
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

Rotation of triangle A across a point (1.5, -0.5) by 180°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Translation of a figure about a vector \binom{-3}{1} means translation of a figure by 3 units to the left on x-axis and 1 unit in the positive direction of the y-axis.

Rule for the translation will be,

(x, y) → [(x - 3), (y + 1)]

From the figure attached,

Vertices of the triangle A are A(1, -1), B(1, -4) and C(3, -4)

After translation new image points will be A'(-2, 0), B'(-2, -3), C'(0, -3).

After rotation of these image points 180° about the origin will be,

Rule for the rotation,

(x, y) → (-x, -y)

A'(-2, 0) → A"(2, 0)

B'(-2, -3) → B"(2, 3)

C'(0, -3) → C"(0, 3)

Therefore, A(1, -1) → A"(2, 0) is the single transformation.

Rule for this transformation which maps triangle C to A will be defined by,

Rotation of triangle A across a point (1.5, -0.5) by 180°.

Ajay analyzed two companies and has formulated tables to model each company’s growth, where x represents the age of the companie
Juliette [100K]

From year 1 to year 2, Company 1 added 6 employees (went from 6 to 12).

From year 1 to year 2, Company 2 multiplied the number of employees by 6 (went from 6 to 36).

The appropriate description is the last one ...

... company 2 because it is multiplying its number of employees by six each year while company 1 is adding 6 employees each year

_____

Multiplying by 6 each year causes the numbers to increase much faster (as you can tell by looking at the tables). Since the investment choice depends on larger numbers of employees, <em>Company 2</em> is the better choice.
