Answer + Explanation:

Unity is the togetherness of people. A union, for example, is a group of people that have come together. Unity often means peace due to the fact that people living among controversial arguments and difference have chosen to come together as one. The question here is asking you to identify a situation where there is increased division. Division means that there is a split among people.

Here are some examples of divisions: there is a division in the Marvel fandom among Captain America fans and Iron Man fans. It means they often fight and think that their side is the best. There is also a division among some countries.

Basically, this question just wants you to identify a split among people that could benefit from an increased togetherness of people around them or among them.

Making the presentation will just want you to use Prezi or PowerPoint to identify the split among people you have chosen, and then slowly take it slide-by-slide and explain the different ways unity can benefit both sides as a whole.

Read the passage from Sugar Changed the World.
dangina [55]

Answer:

"What we call a triangle was really as round as the globe."

Explanation:

This is the quote that best supports the author's claim and purpose. The author wants us to know that the Triangle Trade was not really a triangle. Instead, it was a complex net of connections that spanned the whole world. During this century, almost every region of the world was engaged in trade in some way or another, including the Philippines, Latin America, India, France, England, the Netherlands, Spain, North America and Africa. Therefore, this trade was not triangular, but instead was as round as the globe.
