Poison dart frogs live in the rainforest. They produce a poison by eating toxic fire ants. The only known predator is a snake, L

A.clear cutting the rainforest
B.limited food source
C.susceptibility to disease

Answer:

A. clear cutting the rainforest

Explanation:

In ecology, density independent factors are defined as the factors that influences birth or death rates of a population, regardless of the population density.

Density independent factors generally include physical factors of environment and are unrelated to the size of the population.

Density-independent regulator of population growth of poison dart frogs in the rainforest will be affected by clear cutting the rainforest because if the animal will loss its habitat and the required condition to live which is rainforest, it will unable to survive which will lead to increase in death rates of poison dart frogs.

Hence, clear cutting of raiforest leads to loss of habitat as well as its food resources, the correct answer is A.

A forest has two groups of plants that appear to be very similar both phenotypically and genotypically. The major difference is
Gennadij [26K]
The basics would be that you'd need to find out if they could exchange genetic information. If not, they couldn't be considered part of one species. Set-up 2 artificial environments so both groups would produce pollen at the same time. Fertilise both plants with the other's pollen. Then fertilise the plants with pollen from their own group.
Count the number of offspring each plant produces.
If the plants which were fertilised by the opposite group produce offspring, they are of the same species. You can then take this further if they are of the same species by analysing if there is any difference between the number (and health) of offspring produced by the crossed progeny and by the pure progeny. You'd have to take into account that some of them would want to grow at different times, so a study of the progeny from their first sprout until death (whilst emulating the seasons in your ideal controlled environment). Their success could then be compared to that of the pure-bred individuals.
Make sure to repeat this a few times, or have a number of plants to make sure your results are accurate.
Or if you couldn't do the controlled environment thing, just keep some pollen one year and use it to fertilise the other group.
I'd also put a hypothesis in there somewhere too.
The independent variable would be the number of plants pollinated. The dependant variable would be the number of progeny (offspring) produced.

solong [7]

Answer:

Option - An open circulatory system inside the adults.

Explanation:

 • A terrestrial animal species is discovered with the following larval characteristics: exoskeleton, system of tubes for gas exchange, and modified segmentation. A knowledgeable zoologist should predict that the adults of this species would also feature an open circulatory system.
 • Most of the invertebrates like the insecticides have the open circulatory system, as the system has no specific pathways for the transportation of the materials and other essential nutrients through the medium but they have a more different mechanism in order to provide the sufficient materials to survive.
