Answer: The Scorpion hadn't attacked on purpose.

Explanation:

In this excerpt from "My family and other Animals", the narrator had found a mother scorpion which baby scorpions on her back and had decided to take them in to nurture them and watch them.grow.

He smuggled them in with a matchbox and then forgot about them as he ate lunch.

His brother opened the matchbox and fearing being stung, flung the clan away and pandemonium ensued.

Once order was restored the narrator begged that they don't kill the clan. This is probably because their presence in the house was his fault and therefore it would have been unfair to kill them all when they had no intention of causing the trouble that happened.

Answer:

I used to think that there could be a superior symbol for the country. A statue just didn't seem to cut it. Although I wasn't the biggest fan, I never climbed the statue, but I saw various others do it. I was tempted but I decided to just watch and observe. I wondered what they all say about America. I pondered how climbing the statue says something to other countries about America.
