5/12 is 41.6%

41.6% of a minute is 25 Seconds
75% of a minute is 45 Seconds

Considering Jacob had 5/12 REMAINING
60-25 = 35 seconds

Jacob ran it in 35 seconds
Danial ran it in 45 seconds

Jacob was faster
