Answer:

“ It seems to me there is a valid reason for taking the time today to think carefully and clearly on the subject of human rights, because in the acceptance and observance of these rights lies the root, I believe, of our chance for peace in the future, and for the strengthening of the United Nations organization to the point where it can maintain peace in the future”.

Examine the theme of moral corruption in Hamlet and write an essay of about 200 words on the subject. Be sure to include example
frutty [35]

Answer:

Moral corruption is evident throughout Hamlet. The statement "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark," made by Marcellus in act I scene IV, sums up the moral corruption in the play.

You may have used these other instances of moral corruption in your answer:

Claudius eyeing his brother's wife, Queen Gertrude

Claudius murdering his brother

Claudius marrying his brother's wife

Claudius and Gertrude attempting to convince Hamlet to move on from his father's death and accept his stepfather

Polonius' treatment of Ophelia and his willingness to do the bidding of Claudius

Prince Hamlet plotting to kill his uncle Claudius

Prince Hamlet abusing his mother and calling her promiscuous

Hamlet killing Polonius instead of Claudius

Claudius ordering the king of England to put his nephew, Hamlet, to death

Claudius poisoning Laertes's sword before his duel with Hamlet

Hamlet stabbing Claudius

the death of all the morally corrupt characters of the play (Hamlet, Polonius, Laertes, Claudius, Gertrude, and even Rosencrantz and Guildenstern), which may mean that corruption will lead to death

You may also have used quotes from the play similar to the one below, in which Hamlet laments his mother's sudden marriage to his uncle:

O God! a beast that wants discourse of reason,

Would have mourn'd longer—married with my uncle,

My father's brother...

Answer:

a. trade commission

Explanation:

"An investor purchased a mutual fund through his broker. The broker charged him a fee of 3.75% of the amount of the fund. Which type of fee has the broker charged?"

The statements in bold provide you with information on the nature of this transaction. By definition a broker is an individual or firm that charges a fee  or commission for executing buy and sell orders submitted by an investor

In this case the answer is (a): trade commission:

Trade commission is a form of payment to a brokerage in which the brokerage receives a percentage of the value of each transaction that a client orders. Commissions can be seen as advantageous to a client because if the client doesn't make orders, then they do not have to pay a broker.

Read the excerpt from "Mother Tongue." Lately, I’ve been giving more thought to the kind of English my mother speaks. Like other
Archy [21]

Tan builds a central idea of her story in the excerpt as:

Tan discusses her mother’s use of English to build the idea that a form of language can be purposeful and meaningful even if it is nonstandard.

Amy Tan's essay “Mother Tongue” is about the difficulties that a child has to face if it grows in a family in which its parents speak 'limited English.' Amy's mother was among such parent who was unable to speak fluent and proper English. It is through the language that the person is judged by others. Amy was brought up by her mother and because of this, her writing style was much influenced by the language spoken at her home. Her mother taught her that a person's perception of the world is influenced by the language spoken at home.

Read the incorrect sentence. Write three to five sentences explaining what kind of run-on sentence it is and how to revise it. M
shepuryov [24]
One way to fix that sentence is to switch around the two phrases used; 'My mother and father are both scientists' and 'It must have been my destiny to become interested in biology.'

It must have been my destiny to spark an interest in Biology, as my mother and father are both scientists.

That's a way to fix that sentence used in your question.

Also, 'destiny' was spelled incorrectly.

This sentence may seem run on if you don't place a conjunction between the two phrases, or if the phrases are not switched.

If the sentence is to be used with a conjunction, it may end up like this....

My mother and father are both scientists, so it must have been my destiny to become interested in biology.

Or, you may just use a period, to change the two phrases used into two separate sentences.

Like this;

My mother and father are both scientists. For that reason, it must have been my destiny to become interested in biology.

ALSO, as you can see above, I have added a few words to the last sentence. Those three words, 'For that reason', give closure to the two sentences.

Hope this helped!
