Answer:

The setting is symbolic of the idea that ease and affluence are available to all.

Explanation:

"The Adventure of the Mysterious Stranger" is a travelogue written by Irvin Washington. He describes the places he went on his travels and in particular, the beauty of Italy and Venice as a whole.

The symbolism of the setting is that it gives the idea that people in the city of Venice are living in affluence.

As written in the book, Irvin describes the city as "romantic" and he was "amused by the air of adventure and intrigue" in the land of "masks and gondolas".

<u><em>"In the course of my tour I remained some time at Venice. The romantic character of the place delighted me; I was very much amused by the air of adventure and intrigue that prevailed in this region of masks and gondolas..."</em></u>

ladessa [460]
#1) write an essay where you analyze the tone the character Marullus uses to express his interpretation of Caesar's return.

<span>Answer: His tone is that of someone that is worried or even alarmed at Caesar’s return after he defeated his rival and also former co-ruler Pompey. Marullus knew that this victory would mean that Caesar will be the most powerful man in Rome. For this same reason he felt in a very dangerous position. He assumed that Caesar would soon impose one-man rule. Marullus joins Flavius who feels the same way to try and put a stop to Caesar. </span>

#2) How this is similar or different from the interpretation the painter has depicted?

Answer: It is clear that the interpretation the painter has depicted is very different. This is apparent when you compare the painting to the word that Marullus himself used to describe the return of Caesar. In the painting it seems as though Marullus is impressed by Caesar’s feat. I believe he was just putting up a front while deep down he felt disgusted just looking at caesar in his glory moment.

Explanation:

The 'Brown vs. Board of Education' made a rule that public schools would be integrated and there would be no segregation made between the whites and blacks in the school. In case it is done, it would be against law. But the governor of 'Arkansas', Governor Faubus, was against this law and he stopped nine African American students to enter Little Rock Central High School.
