<em>The right answer is C. He illustrates the theme of good versus evil.</em> When the President opened his speech with a description of a muckraker he gave an explanation of his perspective of what bad or evil is and related the job of journalists to revealing this evil.

In my opinion, I believe that the sentences that explains that organic produce does not contain pesticides and chemical fertilizers that might be bad for you, is the best option or the sentence that explains it is suitable for the environment, these make more sense and are both better obvious answers than the others.

What would you say is your greatest talent or skill? How have you developed and demonstrated that talent over time? In 350 words
blondinia [14]
I believe my greates skill is drawing. Throughout my life, I have gone from a young child who scribbles with crayons to an artist interesting in the sketches of M.C. Esher and other artists. I think it hit me, that I loved drawing, when my lower school art teacher, (insert name), taught me about Henri Matisse. She had read us one of his books and I was enamored with the illustrations! I just couldnt get over it. I later came over to her and asked if I could borrow the book. She told me I had to take special care of it and return it the next day. Oh! How I was excited! I spent the rest of the day turning the pages and looking at the drawings, watching them come alive in my mind. My mother found me with the book later that night and promptly signed me up for a drawing class. Yes, that was the day a started my drawing career. I wish I remembered the book title! (Teachers name) really changed the way I viewed art and gave me the inpiration to improve my drawing.

90% of runners in a marathon successfully completed it. 30% of these runners were men. How many total runners began the marathon
Semmy [17]

The total runners who began the marathon is 1000

<u>Explanation:</u>

Given:

Runners who completed the marathon = 90%

Men = 30%

Number of men completed the marathon = 270

Total runners who began the marathon = ?

Let the total runners be x

According to question:

Runners who completed the marathon = \frac{90}{100} X x

                                                                 = 0.9x

and,

\frac{30}{100} X 0.9 x = 270

Solving further:

0.9x = \frac{270 X 100}{30} \\\\x = \frac{270 X 100}{30 X 0.9} \\\\x = 1000

Therefore, total runners who began the marathon is 1000
