Answer:

I do not view it as legitimate excuse for engaging in projects that might be unethical.

Explanation:

Too many times, we try to soothe our conscience when we accept to do things we know are morally wrong and unethical with the pathetic excuse of "if i don't do it, someone else will".

This is wrong because we say it to feel better about what we want to do. We should not use the lure of making some extra money to sell out our souls and perform things which are unethical and have potential to destroy someone or something.

Good professional conduct among engineers requires ethical decision making, carrying out tasks in a responsible manner, adhering to rules and making sure that the work done is according to professional standards.

Which phrase from mark Antony's speech best shows that he is using ethos?
Ludmilka [50]
The mode of persuasion "ethos" appeals to beliefs or ideals of a community and also an authority figure's character or credibility to influence individuals through morals.

In the famous play "Julius Caesar", Mark Anthony changed the opinion of the Romans by making them hate Brutus and the conspirators using "ethos" to put their credibility on the spot with irony and sarcasm when he repeatedly calls them "Honorable Men"; on the other hand he praise Caesar's loyalty to him when he calls him "His faithful friend", making people empathize with his character.

cluponka [151]

Answer:

C). Work together to fight against social injustices.

Explanation:

Language always play a vital role in creating the desired tone or mood in a writing that assists in conveying the message more effectively and eliciting the intended feelings or response from the audience.

In the given excerpt, the strong language implies that Chavez firmly wished that 'people must come together irrespective of the background or race they belong to as a force to battle against the social evils or injustices' and 'sound the trumpets of change.' The use of sturdy and impressive phrases like 'be trampled over by the iron feet of oppression' reveal his disagreement towards these injustices strongly. Thus, option C is the correct answer.
