Benefits of tissue culture are mentioned below:

 1. Prescriptions can be examined on the cancer culture prior to being injected into the subject, so that the patient can be treated accordingly.
 2. A single tissue culture can be used for all the cancer victims.

Tissue culture is a method in which living cells from the tissue are disposed in a synthetic medium and placed in situations that will allow the cells to carry on expanding.

Which of the following best describes the mechanism by which steroid hormones control gene expression? View Available Hint(s) Wh
Veseljchak [2.6K]

Answer:

Steroid hormones that enter the cell activate receptors. These hormone-receptor complexes then bind HREs and influence gene expression.

Explanation:

Mechanism of action of steroid hormones is as follows:

 • Steroid hormone enters cell and bind to the receptor.
 • Translocation of activated receptor- ligand complex into nucleus.
 • This complex then bind to another receptor on the chromatin.
 • Steroid receptors form dimers.
 • Act on DNA
 • These hormone-receptor complexes then bind HREs and influence gene expression.
 • Augmentation or Suppression of transcription.

Benjamina started her walk from the front door of her ground floor apartment. She walked 6 meters to the corner of the building
Alona [7]
Benjamina has walked two legs of a right triangle, so you can connect her two movements with a line if you were sketching the situation.. The displacement is the objects overall change in position in relation to its origin, so in your case, Benjamina's apartment. While the total distance adds up regardless of her position.

So, the total distance Benjamina walked is 10m + 6m = 16m
Her displacement can be found by your best friends, the Pythagorean Theorem: 10m ^2 + 6m ^2 = delta x^2 (or displacement squared).. giving you a displacement of 11.66, or 12 m

The difference between the distance she walked and her displacement is 4 meters.

A red supergiant star is ten times more massive than the sun. What would be the likely impact on the motion of Earth if the sun
Nitella [24]
Expanding red giant stars will swallow too-close planets. In the solar system, the sun will engulf Mercury and Venus, and may devour Earth, as well. So logically concluding, the answer must be that it would devour the planets whole, and there will be no rotation, (assuming this is a trick question)
