That’s a trick question because it’s for the workplace so it’s kind of different, because you shouldn’t think of a person greater than or less than someone else based on their abilities because that’s just messed up and everyone has their own talents and it’s normal if other people don’t. I think I would say it promotes discrimination because that would cause people to become cocky because “they can do more than someone else” like no that’s not right, when they first got to the moon J.F. Kennedy (the president at the time) met a janitor who was carrying a broom down the hallway. Kennedy asked him what he was doing and he replied “well, I’m helping put the man on the moon” I personally LOVE that, because most people think they have to be on the front lines to be helping, but nope that’s not how it works, think of a talk show, the celebrities and the host aren’t the only one of the show, there has to be a camera man, a staff and so much more for the show to run smoothly. No one should be classified based on there abilities because at the end of the day it really doesn’t matter, your still helping the big picture. This is kinda long lol and I know I started w saying it’s a trick question but I don’t think it’s anymore

What is the narrator’s intention for “unnaming” the animals? Refer to paragraphs 6 and 7 and use evidence from the text to suppo
Ronch [10]

Answer:

The narrator's intention for "unnaming" the animals is: to become one with nature and have equality rather than showing domination over the creatures by labeling them with a name.

Explanation:

In author Ursula K. Le Guin's short story "She Unnames Them" the narrator is Eve, the first woman created by God according to the Bible. As we know, according to the book of Genesis, Adam named the animals God created to be his companions. In the story, however, Eve realizes the need to take those names back. She even gives back her own name. Her purpose for doing that is to free herself and the animals of the labels that distinguish them. By remaining unnamed, they become the same. There is nothing separating their existence and sense of self any longer:

They seemed far closer than when their names had stood between myself and them like a clear barrier: so close that my fear of them and their fear of me became one same fear. And the attraction that many of us felt, the desire to feel or rub or caress one another’s scales or skin or feathers or fur, taste one another’s blood or flesh, keep one another warm -- that attraction was now all one with the fear, and the hunter could not be told from the hunted, nor the eater from the food.
