The correct answer is C. It makes the myth concrete by revealing the power that people place on words.

Explanation:

The book "The Way to Rainy Mountain" by the writer N. Scott Momaday deals with the folklore of the Kiowa a Native American Tribe, including their myths and the history of the tribe. In the two excerpts presented here, myths are explained one in related to a giant and other to the evil and the incomprehensible. Additionally to this, in both excerpts the myth is presented in relation to some words probably used by the members of the tribe to confront the creatures of the myths, in this way, the readers do not only know about the creatures of the myths but they also learn the power of words for the Kiowa in the myths which supports the personal narrative used to describe the Kiowa myths and makes the myth concrete.

the weapons act without bias

The things that are falling are bombs. The bombs do not care what they hit. They do not have a preference for roads, roofs, thickets, or people. The bombers drop them with a specific target line up, but the bomb does not care what that is. This adds to the overall tone and mood of the poem.
