Answer:

Explanation:

This tends to happen a lot when more than one individual is jumping on a trampoline at the same time and is socially known as a "super jump". This happens because of the first individual jumps and lands on the mat of the trampoline which pushes down and generates a certain amount of potential energy into the springs of the trampoline. The second individual then lands on this mat and adds to that potential energy even more. When no more energy is being added the springs shoot up and push the individuals on it much higher the more energy that has been stored.

What is the author's purpose in "George Washington"?
Fudgin [204]

Answer:

The author's purpose in "George Washington" is Option A: to inform readers about George Washington's legacy as the first president of the United States

Explanation:

George Washington was the first President of the United States. He is known as the 'Father of the country'. He was considered as one of the great leaders in the history of U.S.

The author informs the readers about Washington's legacy as first U.S. President. He is not trying to teach about his good qualities or tell about his personal life as per Option B and C respectively. Nor is he trying to convince readers about Washington's role as per Option D.
