Answer:

A.

Explanation:

'Why Afghanistan’s ‘Underground Girls’ Skirt  Tradition to Live as Boys' is an interview taken by NPR of Jenny Nordberg, who wrote about <em>bacha posh</em> in Afghanistan. The central idea presented in the text is that by making girls dressed as boys, girls and women in Afghanistan are more oppressed and controlled.

The statement that best supports this central idea is statement from paragraph 1, <em>"They can’t leave the house alone; they’re not educated; and they’re dressed in clothes that conceal them." </em>By concealing the true identity of girls in childhood, the society of Afghanistan tend to control them.

Therefore, option A is correct.

11Alexandr11 [23.1K]

"Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" is a lonely poem, for our speaker finds himself far away from any other human being. He kind of digs this aloneness, however, and is glad that no one is there to watch him. We get the feeling that he'd rather be all by his lonesome in the freezing cold than back in the village. Nature helps make things even lonelier, too, for it happens to be freezing cold, snowing, and dark out there.

<span>The question is asking to complete the sentence ". _____ volunteers for this project will get credit for community service." and the options are: Whoever Who Whom Whomever. We can immediately reject "whom" and "whomever" since they are in indirect case. "who" would be acceptable, but it would sound then better to say "those that...." - therefore, the best answer is "whoever"</span>
