Crepuscular is derived from twilight (a latin word ) and is used to describe animals that are active just when the sun is rising or setting that is at dawn or dusk. Animals who are crepuscular are believed to have evolved like this majorly to prevent predators, or to prevent the scorching sun's heat on them. 1. Write a story that ends in "I've never found such a kind person ever
since".

skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer:

I’d never believe the day I would find someone so kind like this one person. On a Sunday morning I decided to go to a park for some fresh air, as I got there I noticed a puppy who looked homeless. As I took a closer look I saw a stranger walk up to the puppy and give it some food and water, it was a small gesture but it must’ve meant a lot to the puppy. Not many people do that in my town so I could tell that the stranger had a heart of gold! I’ve never found such a kind person ever since.

Which situations are best suited for the passive voice? Select three options. when you are talking about a general truth when th
Georgia [21]

The passive voice formed by Subject + verb to be+Past Participle. The object in the active voice becomes the subject of the passive voice and the subject of the active voice is either the object in the passive voice or is not mentioned.

The passive voice is used when we don't know the performer of the action. Example: “The house was built in 1884” in this case we don't know who built the house.

The passive voice is used when the focus is on the receiver of the action. Example: “Five people were killed in a car accident”, in this case the focus is on “five people”

The passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. Example: “The car was stolen”, in this case the emphasis is on the fact that the car was stolen and not on who stole it.

So the three options that apply to the uses of the passive voice are:

when the performer of the action is unknown

when you want to emphasize the action directly

when you want to emphasize the receiver of the action
