Answer: 54%

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The cost of 1 pound of  potato in  a local grocery store last week= $4

The cost of 1 pound of  potato in  a local grocery store last week after 8 % tax= $4+8% of $4

=4+0.08\times4=4+0.32=\$4.32

The cost of 1 pound of  potato in  a local grocery store next week= $6

The cost of 1 pound of  potato in  a local grocery store next week after 8 % tax= $6+8% of $6

=6+0.08\times6=6+0.48=\$6.48

The percentage increase in the cost of a pound of potatoes, including the sales tax will be given by :-

P=\frac{\text{ increase in cost}}{\text{cost last week}}\times100\\\\\Rioghtarrow\ P=\frac{6.48-4.32}{4}\times100\\\\\Rightarrow\ P=\frac{2.16}{4}\times100\\\\\Rightarrow\ P=54\%

24+28+45= $97

So $97 is 100%

So 100%-30% =70% (30% off)
(note: 70% = 70/100 = 0.7)

97 x 0.7 = $67.90

irinina [24]

Given the points H(6,7) and I(-7,-6).

If point G lies \frac{1}{2} of the way along line segment HI.

Therefore, we can say that the point G divides the line segment HI in the ratio 1:1.

So, by using the cross section formula we can determine the coordinates of point G.

For the given points say (x_1, y_1) and (x_2, y_2) divided is in the ratio m_1 : m_2, the coordinates are (\frac{m_1x_2+m_2x_1}{m_1+m_2} , \frac{m_1y_2+m_2y_1}{m_1+m_2} )

Coordinates G = (\frac{(1 \times -7)+(1 \times 6)}{2} , \frac{(1 \times -6)+(1 \times 7)}{2})

= (-0.5 , 0.5)

Hence, the coordinates of G are (-0.5 , 0.5).

So, Santiago argues that point G is located at the origin. The point G is located at (-0.5, 0.5). Therefore, he is not correct.

X^2/81 + y^2/64 = 1 The major intercepts are at (±9, 0) (±8, 0) (0, ±9)
Inessa [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Your question is unclear. What are "major intercepts"?

x²/81 + y²/64 = 1

The major axis is horizontal.

0²/81 + y²/64 = 1

y-intercepts = ±8

x²/81 + 0/64 = 1

x-intercepts = ±9

slega [8]
For the answer to the question above, the opposite angles at the intersection of two straight lines as shown in the graph are congruent.
So the answer is simply∡ EIA  and ∡ KIJ are congruent.
