The lipid components of cellular membranes often include phospholipids and cholesterol. Phospholipids is made up of glycerol, fatty acids, phosphate and organic derivatives such phospho inositol and choline. Cholesterol is the component of the membrane lipid which determine the fluidity of the memebrane; it also participates in membrane singalling system.

The lipid components of the cellular membranes mainly include phospholipids, glycolipids, phosphoglycerides, fatty acid, cholesterol, and sphingolipids.

Further Explanation:

The bilayer is a structure through which the cell membrane maintains the cytoplasm inside the cell and extracellular fluid around the cell. Phospholipids are the basic foundation of the structure of the plasma membrane. In the plasma membrane, the phospholipids are present in the bilayer. The hydrophilic portion is an aqueous surrounding of the cytoplasm. The hydrophobic tail and extracellular fluid are pack inside and can easily be protected from the aqueous environment of the membrane.

Cholesterol is a kind of hydrophobic molecule that is mainly there in the hydrophobic tails of the phospholipid bilayer. They are present in the core of a membrane. Fatty acids are mainly joined to glycerol and make triacylglycerides, diacylglycerides, and monoacylglycosides. Sphingolipids and Glycolipids are also present in the membrane. Sphingolipids have sphingosine instead of glycerol. They both play a significant part in the fluidity of the membrane.

An object has a kinetic energy of 25 J and a mass of 34 kg. How fast is the object moving?
Andreyy89
Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by an object with mass when in motion. It is calculates by 1/2 the product of the mass of the object and the square of its velocity.

KE = 1/2 (mv^2)
25 = 1/2 (34)(v^2)
v = 1.21 m/s

The nurse finds the client who has had an ileostomy crying. the client explains to the nurse, "i am upset because i know i will
EleoNora [17]
Ileostomy is a procedure where the end of the small intestine, called the ileum, is brought out of an opening in the belly through surgery. The opening is called a stoma, and its shiny, bright red in color. It is often done after the large intestine has been removed due to cancer or serious physical injuries. Having a stoma, and the need of emptying it several times a day, is disfiguring so the patient often suffer from poor self image. The patient in the case, may be concerned of being unable to continue romantic relationships due to having a stoma. As a nurse, make sure to first make patient understand that ileostomy surgery does not involve the reproductive organs or the gonads. Then, acknowledge that while having a stoma is disfiguring, many organizations are helping increase awareness and acceptance of those who have the condition. Refer the patient to such local stoma advocacy organizations.

Which of the following statements about evolution is TRUE? Evolution describes how an individual's offspring develop from juveni
avanturin [10]

Answer:

The correct answer will be option-Selective survival and reproduction is a requirement of evolution by natural selection.

Explanation:

Evolution is a slow process of change in the heritable features of species over a successive generation of time.

The process of evolution takes place during a long period of time only when the advantageous mutations are passed on to the generations and become established.

The mechanism of this process is natural selection which increases the reproductive rate as well as the survival rate of the species.

Thus, the selected option is the correct answer.
