Answer:

A hurricane is a type of storm in which the high current wind forms a circular cone mass and destructs anything that comes in it's path. The Florida state should create shelters in order to create protection against hurricane.

A drought is a condition in which a region exhibits scarcity of water at the atmospheric, surface and ground level. The plantation of desalination plants will help in removing salt from available water from oceanic, sea or lake. So that the water from these sources can be used in drought conditions. Therefore, California state should spend money for establishment of desalination plants for preparation of drought.

Biological and environmental influences that are similar for individuals in a particular age group, regardless of where they are
Flauer [41]

Answer:

age-graded

Explanation:

Age-graded influences are biological and environmental events that influence the dynamic interaction between an individual and their environment at certain ages of the individual’s course of life. They are events that are expected to occur in a particular setting based on chronological age. For example, depending on the cultural settings of an individual, an individual is expected to graduate high school at a certain age, or get married at a certain age. Another example is puberty and menopause which are biological influences that are age-graded.

Use the model here to describe the transfer of matter and flow of energy from one trophic level to another within an ecosystem.
Brrunno [24]

Answer:

A)Biomass is transferred from one organism to another when one organism consumes another organism. When a predator organism eats the prey organism, the molecules on the food are broken down by the digestive system into smaller molecules. These smaller molecules like lipids, amino acids, glucose are used by the organism for various purposes.

B) Energy that is not transferred from one organism to another is either used up by the organism for various purposes. Most of the energy is lost into the environment in the form of heat.

c) There are typically fewer organisms at the top of the trophic levels because energy keeps on declining at each trophic levels so the number of consumers which it can satisfy also decreases.

d) Only 10% of the energy passes from one trophic level to another. The rest is usually lost in the form of heat. For example, if there was 100%  energy in the producers, only 10% would pass to the primary consumers. The secondary consumers will receive 1%.
