Answer:

The correct answer is that Brian in that situation shows his lack of responsibility and maturity.

Explanation:

First of all, the term professionalism refers to the combination of all the skills that a person has and that demostrates that the person is trained in the particular subject. Therefore it is understandable that when talking about professionalism, the aspects that are expected from a person in the working are is only to be the best that the person can, according to that particular area.

Secondly, in the case presented above, Brian fails completely in having a professional perfomance in his job due to the fact that no only he was late and without the correct uniform, but also he has the courage to blame his partner for the actions he took and therefore he shows the lack of responsability in his duties and that does not know how to give more importance to his job than his friend's project.

Lisa [10]

Answer:

Larry must have signed a PROXY AGREEMENT that gives the management group control over his shares.

A proxy agreement is generally used for stockholders voting procedures, they basically grant another person the right to vote on behalf of another stockholder.

Larry's current investment in the company is $86,000.

= 2,000 stocks x $43 = $86,000

If the company issues new shares and Larry makes no additional purchase, Larry's investment will be worth $82,560.

company's new market value = (20,000 x $43) + (5,000 x $34.40) = $1,032,000

new stock price = $1,032,000 / 25,000 stocks = $41.28

= $41.28 x 2,000 = $82,560

This scenario is an example of STOCK DILUTION.

The stock price will lower because the increase in the company's value is less than proportional to the increase in the number of stocks.

Larry could be protected if the firm's corporate charter includes a PREEMPTIVE provision.

Preemptive rights give current stockholders the right to purchase more stocks (in case the company issues more stocks) before any outside investors.

If Larry exercises the provisions in the corporate charter to protect his stake, his investment value in the firm will become $103,200.

= [(5,000 / 10) x $34.40] + $86,000 = $17,200 + $86,000 = $103,200

Answer:

Since elasticity is 6.4, a positive figure,it is normal good and the fact that it is greater than one means it is elastic, hence option A is correct

Explanation:

The formula for income elasticity of demand is given as:

/(new quantity-old quantity)//(old price+new price)/2)/(New income-Old income)/(old income+new income)/2)

New income=$33,000

Old income=$31,900

New quantity =5 times

Old quantity=3 times

Hence=(5-3)/(3+5)/2)/(33500-31900)/(31900+33500)/2)

Elasticity=6.45

A holder of a seller-server certificate serves an alcoholic beverage to an intoxicated person for a second time within a 12 mont
Hunter-Best [27]
According to the TABC, seller-server certification can be revoked if one is charged with breaking the laws concerning the sale of alcohol. The length of time that TABC certificate is revoked depends on the number of offenses committed within a period of 12 months. In this case, the holder made a second offence within 12 months, therefore, the holder will not be allowed to get a TABC certification again for 90 days. One is required to take some time off work since it appears he/she has a problem with breaking alcohol laws

Suppose that students at Big University buy season football tickets at the beginning of the fall semester. Everyone expects that
Elena L [17]

Answer:

A) The current supply will shift to the left

Explanation:

The supply curve shifts to the left when the total quantity supplied decreases, which results in a price increase at any given quantity.

If everyone expects that the football team will have a great season, the quantity demanded for tickets will increase, which will increase their price. But the suppliers will also hold to their tickets until a day or two before the games to increase expectations and fans' anxieties. That way the price will increase even more, and they will make a higher profit.
