The reality is that video games aren't just for kids. There are plenty of adult gamers out there, and people seem to be neglecti

ng that fact. Everything that they're doing is "for the kids", but everyone else is left out. They assume that the majority of people who play video games are kids, and that ignorance leads them to believe M-rated games should be stopped. But what happened to freedom of expression; did our first amendment suddenly disappear? What type of argument is this passage using?

Answer:

This passage is using an inductive argument.

Explanation:

There are two basic types of argument: deductive and inductive. Inductive arguments assert the truth of a conclusion by supporting it with premises that have at least some degree of probability. This is to say, using the inductive form of reasoning allows the writer to reach a conclusion by making observations and creating a generalization. A deductive argument, on the other hand, asserts a truth based on logical premises that give rise to the conclusion.

Tamiku [17]

Answer: B) The rhyming words "fate" and "hate" connect the pilot's fate to his emotions.

Explanation: In the given excerpt from "An Irish Airman Foresees His Death" by William Butler Yeats we can see the rhyme pattern ABAB (the words from the lines 1 and 3: "fate" and "hate" rhyme, as well as the words "above" and "love" from the lines 2 and 4). The rhyming of the words "fate" and "hate" connect the pilot's fate to his emotions, so the correct answer is the corresponding to option B.

KonstantinChe [14]
The answer is "it leaves things uncertain."

This passage focuses on the mother's understanding; it does not focus on Imogen's inner thoughts or her love for the children.

However, it does not specifically explain the "many things" the mother thought when she looked away from her child's eyes. Therefore, it leaves these things uncertain.
