Answer :

The excerpt serves to foreshadow the manner in which Lange attempted to hide from all of her subjects.

Dorothea Lange's grandmother taught her to observe and inspect things carefully to appreciate their true beauty. She learnt the technique of hiding and making herself invisible to her subjects whom she saw on her long walks across New York. These walks also helped her get familiar with the city and she became aware of the sharp differences in the lives of the rich and the poor. This "cloak of invisibility" greatly helped the documentary photographer in capturing the human struggle in her photographs.

How does he author support the argument that veganism is better for the environment
Luden [163]

In the essay "A Defense of Veganism", by Jessica Scott-Reid, the author supports the argument that veganism is better for the environment with option B) by giving information about the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables.

Among the vegan movement there are some militants who have to face frustration and desperation that comes from learning about the cruelty of the farm, dairy, and, the cosmetic industries. Vegans are the voice of the voiceless. She says that among them there is a desire "...to see a world free of animal cruelty and exploitation free of the number one cause of greenhouse-gas emissions,.." and free of the leading causes of heart disease and other illnesses. She then states that a plant-based diet is beneficial for animals, humans and the environment.

Which of these is an example of a hasty generalization? A. She likes mayonnaise, so I think she will like anchovies. B. Their do
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Hello there!

Correct answer is D: He's the president of the chess club, so he must not like sports.

Hasty generalization is an informal fallacy of faulty generalization by reaching an inductive generalization based on insufficient evidence. In this case, just one fact is given: He's the president of the chess club; and automatically we can not make a conclusion such as: so he must not like sports, because we do not have enough evidence.  The use of must not is also a key to identify the generalization.

Hope this helps!

Mark as brainliest, please.
