When using "Neither/Nor" combinations, you should use a the verb that agrees with the subject that is closest to it.  


So, the correct answer would look like this:

Neither Tommy nor his dancers are familiar with the dance studio.


Because the subject "dancers" is next to the verb, you should choose a verb that agrees with it.
